What is Mini Movers Academy?
Mini Movers Academy offers fun, sport-inspired movement classes for babies and toddlers.
Each session is carefully designed to support your child’s physical development, coordination, balance and confidence — all through playful, structured activities they’ll love. Think soft balls, colourful equipment, imaginative themes and plenty of giggles.
We combine early sports skills (like kicking, rolling, throwing, jumping) with sensory play, so your child gets the best of both worlds: movement with meaning, and fun that fuels their growth.
Our classes are currently based in Lambourn, easily accesible from Hungerford, East Garston, Great Shefford, Wantage, Newbury and surrounding villages in West Berkshire.

Why Parents Love it:
– Activities tailored to each age group and stage
– Grown ups take part too, making it a brilliant bonding activity
– Helps build strength, confidence and coordination
– Encourages teamwork, turn-taking and following instructions
– A joyful outlet for big energy and big feelings
– All run by a DBS-checked coach who knows the local toddler chaos well!
About Me!
Hi, I am Darryl.
Mini Movers combines two of my greatest passions: sports and helping the next generation grow in confidence.
I previously managed a children’s football team, coaching players from the age of 4 up to 10. Now, with a little one of my own who’s already obsessed with kicking a ball around, my love for early movement and play has only grown!
After attending a variety of sensory baby classes, I noticed a gap — there wasn’t much out there that combined sensory play with the foundations of sport. That’s exactly what inspired me to create Mini Movers.
I’m DBS-checked, paediatric first aid trained and genuinely passionate about supporting babies and toddlers as they develop confidence, coordination and joy through active play.
Outside of Mini Movers, I live locally in Lambourn with my family — and I’d love to welcome you and your little one to a class soon, whether they’re crawling, toddling, or already gearing up to score their first goal.
